Cayman Healthcare Consulting Case Study - Wellness Without Limits Caribbean

This company is newly formed and offering Mild Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (mHBOT) which a natural therapy and done in an inflatable chamber. While Cayman has had hyperbaric oxygen therapy delivered in a metal chamber, initially for scuba diving-related conditions, this mHBOT is new to the Cayman Islands. The owners of Wellness Without Limits wanted to ensure they complied with any legal requirements of the country and to educate medical practitioners on island and later the general public on what mHBOT therapy can do and what it can’t.

CHCC helped to provide information on laws that would be applicable and those that were not, with a view to respect requirements in the healthcare field. Mrs. Quappé is also very knowledgeable about the Cayman Islands having been in the media as well as in healthcare and provided this company with strategies to consider regarding their outreach to medical practitioners and to the public, generally.

While it turned out there were no legal requirements specific in the Health Practice Law (2013 Revision) for them to comply with – the guidance given helped this company inform these medical bodies to prevent any concerns for this new service down the road and to help build good community relations.

Our company, Wellness Without Limits, consulted with Barrie Quappe from Cayman Healthcare Consulting and we were very grateful for her pleasant and prompt service. Barrie is very qualified, thorough, straight-up, yet personable. She’s gets what you need done. She not only understands the laws, but the people of this island too, as she is an active part of the community and genuinely cares about it, you can feel that. I have already recommended her services to others.
